It started with a simple challenge at our booth
At CosmoBeauty 2026, a gentleman stopped by the SkinLinks booth. At the time, I thought he was just another buyer looking man walking the floor.
I made him an offer that probably sounded too bold:
"Give me 10 minutes, and I'll visibly improve the wrinkles on your forehead."
He didn't buy it. "That's impossible," he said, with the calm skepticism of someone who had heard a hundred exhibition pitches before.
So I did something a little playful to pull him in:
"Then let's make a €1 bet. If your wrinkles don't improve, I'll pay you €1."
He smiled and said, "I have a meeting somewhere else right now — let me come back after it." And honestly? I wasn't sure he would.
But he did. He came back to the booth.

The 10:24 treatment - and what I told him honestly

A 25-year industry veteran, initially certain it was "impossible," chose to give me his card. That was the real prize. The €1? I never collected it — collecting it would have meant nothing.
What actually happened here, technically (and honestly)
Let me be completely transparent about the conditions, because that's the only way this story is useful to professionals:
- The treatment was done by me - not a licensed aesthetician - in a noisy, busy exhibition booth.
- I used only a basic conductive gel, with no premium cosmetics or serums.
- I used only the Wrinkles mode - nothing else.
In a real clinic or salon, a professional would do this very differently: in a calm, quiet room, layering quality cosmetics and actives, running the lymphatic circulation mode for 10-15 minutes first, and only then moving to the Wrinkles mode.

💭 My Personal Reflection
I've spent years in this industry, and I've learned that professionals don't fall for hype - they fall for honesty.
I could have told Buyer that I ran the full 12 minutes... I could have claimed he said I was a genius... I could have used AI to fill our empty booth photo with a fake crowd... I chose not to do any of that.
Because the most powerful thing in B2B isn't a perfect story - it's a true one. A skeptical 25-year veteran, an unglamorous booth, a basic gel, 10 minutes and 24 seconds, and a business card I never asked for.
